Excellent. My wife and I had a stop over in Villa Rosa and this establishment was open. Was not expecting to much as I associated with summer tourist trade, but the food was excellent. Due to the time of the year at the start of April there were only locals in, as they know what to expect.
Owner extremely personable and was very helpful with our questions on the area and choosing what was best to try.

Il cuoco ci ha omaggiato un antipasto buonissimo (trippa di pesce).
Abbiamo preso un primo, gnocchi allo scoglio. Un piatto abbondantissimo e delizioso. Come secondo una frittura (ci hanno fatto la cortesia di non metterci pesciolini) e tonno grigliato. Tutto cotto a regola d'arte oltre che freschissimo!
Patatine fritte pazzesche, freschissime e cotte a puntino. Verdure grigliate ottime. Anche il pane croccantissimo.
Insomma, non abbiamo preso il dolce perché quasi rotolavamo!
Il personale gentilissimo e scattante.

It was a wonderful discovery! My mom and I looked for a typical restaurant where we could enjoy seafood. It wasn't easy since everything was almost closed (out of season). We took two tourist menus (1 first course and 1 second course) of fish.. Wow! The chef gave us a delicious appetizer (fish tripe). We took a first course, gnocchi allo scoglio. A very abundant and delicious dish. For the second course, a fried dish (they were kind enough not to put small fish in it) and grilled tuna. Everything cooked to perfection as well as very fresh! Amazing French fries, very fresh and cooked to perfection. Excellent grilled vegetables. Even the very crunchy bread. In short, we didn't take dessert because we almost rolled! The staff was very kind and quick. Phenomenal chef.. If it hadn't been for him, I would never have tasted fish tripe!

È la terza volta che ci ritroviamo in questo ristorante a mangiare. L'ambiente è molto familiare, Maurizio e tutto il suo staff ci hanno accolto come se ci conoscessero da sempre. Abbiamo mangiato pesce. Porzioni molto abbondanti e gustose. Torneremo a trovarvi. Il servizio è stato impeccabile.

Se, invece, cercate un luogo familiare, con personale gentile e pietanze gustose e abbondanti, a prezzi onesti, siete nel posto giusto! Uno dei pochi posti in cui si riesce a non tornare a casa con la fame e il portafogli svuotato, che nulla ha da invidiare (anzi!) a posti modaioli finto-chic, in cui servono piatti insipidi e micro-assaggi insoddisfacenti. Finally, a place where you can eat well at still-affordable prices, in a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. If you're sophisticated and snobbish, pretentious and superficial, move on! If, however, you're looking for a family-friendly place, with friendly staff and tasty, hearty dishes at fair prices, you've come to the right place! One of the few places where you won't go home hungry and with an empty wallet, it's just as good (in fact!) as those trendy, faux-chic places that serve bland dishes and unsatisfying small portions. Posto rustico vicinissimo al mare. Pesce ottimo, porzioni abbondanti. Raccomando spaghetti alle vongole. Il pesce spada alla griglia ben cotto al sapore di mare. Il personale è molto accogliente ed il titolare è simpatico. Prezzi ottimi: il menu turistico a 15 euro è molto conveniente. Il vino frizzantino è perfetto con il tutto. Complimenti
